yuba city childrens photographer { some pics for new fall parents @ the daycare }

These are some pics of our OD areas for the kids. .5 of which is used for the Busy Bees outdoor activities. The pool area is only for older school aged children in the summer months. The kids have a playground where they can swing and play, a decent sized grassy area for soccer and other activities, a gated infant area that is also used as a quiet area for kids who just want to get some alone time to do puzzles etc. We have our own OD kitchen for the kids where we do all of our food prep. You will notice the sand box for sand and water play and last but not least the world’s largest race track for preschoolers is our tennis courts. They have bikes, balls, tetherball, and a basketball hoop in this area. These kids have everything they need to have lots of fun. I am happy to say we do have such a large setting and we thoroughly use it because it allows us to make small groups in each area and rotate children from area to area. This cuts down on kids fighting and getting in each others space.

{ More photos to come of the inside later this week }

Our inside is 900SF. We are set up very similar to a preschool. Accreditation recommends we have all academic areas available to kids at all times. So with that recommendation we have different centers set up for kids to play independently. Our indoor centers include- science, dramatic play/dress up, computer center, math center, manipulative center, art center, in fact center, community play/large motor center. I really try to have an environment here at the busy bees daycare where you can bring your little one and they will be here until they start kindergarten. We have a full Pre K program for all of our kids 20 mos and above, where we have a daily pre k activity and also include practicing letter flashcards, pattering; ABC’s, counting, and name tracing/recognition. We have lots of fun at the busy bees but academics and behavior are something we take very seriously as these are the really informative years that are so important to get them a great start in life.
